Orange Salmon with Green Onions, and Saturday nails.

I grew up in Alaska, we ate Salmon all the time.....and I LOVE it. I am always looking for new recipes for salmon. For Valentines Day and my Aunt Mary's birthday, we went to Washington, while we were there my Uncle Bob made the best Salmon. He cooked in the boiler, with bacon and sweet chili sauce. Yummm-o. ( I will get the recipe from him and post it later), however tonight we are having a recipe I found in Better Homes and Garden; June 2016 issuse.
Orange Salmon and Green Onions.
2 naval oranges, halved
2 limes, juiced (1/4 cup)
3 Tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
4 tsp vegetable oil
12 green onions, trimmed
1 lb boneless salmon fillet (skin on)

Preheat over to 425.
Juice one orange for 1/3 cup juice. Cut remaining orange into wedges
In a small bowl stir together:orange juice,  lime juice, tamari or soy sauce, ginger, and 2tsp of oil.
Drizzle the bottom of a au gratin (or cake pan) with the remaining 2tbs of oil.
Place green onions and orange wedges in the dish; toss to coat.
Place the salmon , skin side down, in the center of the dish
Drizzle with orange juice mixture
Bake 15 minutes or until salmon is opaque and starting to flake
Remove
Turn oven on to broil
Baste salmon with sauce
Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 5-7 minutes.

To go along with the fish theme of the night I think that we will watch "Heart of the Sea."

Also it's Saturday; nail night. My cousins and I have been into white nails the last few weeks. We love the look for spring. I think I am going to keep my nails white for one more week.

I hope everyone has an amazing Saturday evening and wonderful Sunday.
